The SAGE Parent's Association (A 501C3) is a non-profit organization formed to support the SAGE Magnet at Millikan. The primary objectives and purposes of SPA is to a) to raise money to further the educational goals of the students, teachers, staff and curriculum of the SAGE Magnet program; b) to sponsor special events shared with other members of the campus on which SAGE Magnet is located that support and promote SAGE Magnet’s vision of an inclusive and affirming curriculum, service learning, gender studies, speech & debate, and social & emotional intelligence; and c) to support an inviting and inclusive environment among the community and the families of SAGE Magnet students. 


SPA has elected their first board members and we are excited to introduce them to you!

We still need parent volunteers for the following committees:

Fundraising: Spearheads all fundraising efforts for SAGE such as family dinner nights, auctions, and special events. Parents will help the chair of the committee with the planning and organizing of these events to ensure they run smoothly. 
Communications: Handles all correspondence with SAGE families including the SAGE newsletter, announcements, social media postings, and any communication needed between the teachers and the parents. 
Community Engagement: Engages the surrounding community through building partnerships between local business and SAGE, which includes setting up field trips, assemblies, special events and projects etc.
